BODY
We use simple and profound techniques to support the release of the tension and the rigidity in the body. We move in a nonlinear attitude and improve our awareness by finding more space internally and externally. Through bodywork and movement, we strengthen our ability to stay in the not knowing, we stay present to what wants to unfold, to our breath and its aliveness.
It is an unwinding of unhelpful patterns in the body that then creates equal spaciousness in mind and spirit. The body wants to naturally reorganize itself by awakening the spine, through the breath, and nurturing the nervous system. That results in a deeper sense of wellbeing, clarity, and integration of a healthy life.
All ancient methods proved to cause beneficial long-lasting results.
The power of yoga
Through HeartYoga* we undo any negative patterns stored both in body and mind to fully awaken the greatness in your body and to give you a solid sense of well-being in every corner of your cells.
*HeartYoga is created by Chalotte Fruergaard, through her years of experience as a yoga teacher, retreat holder, and spiritual mentor. It is not just yoga, not just meditation, not just bodywork and movement, not just breath work and energy work but all of them at the same time and more. It is a subtle, fluid combination of poses, breathwork, and meditation.
Yoga has many physical and mind-related benefits which have now been scientifically proven.
The power of breath work
Breathing is one of the most basic functions of the human body, it not only fuels the body with oxygen, but it can also clear your mind and support the relaxation of your muscles and nervous system. Yet due to an overloaded lifestyle, we often don’t breathe in a way that allows the body to function in the way it should.
Breathwork supports so many of the challenges we all experience. It reduces stress, creates feelings of openness, love, peace, gratitude, clarity, communication, and connection. It also helps release physical and emotional blocks, as well as anxiety, depression, fear, grief, and anger.
We use different proven breathing techniques from ancient yoga pranayama’s to modern techniques such as Wim Hof breathing and HeartMath coherence among others.
The power of meditation
Meditation lets you become more awake and more purposeful about your actions. It teaches you how to respond, rather than react, to situations in your life.
Meditation sounds simple. But it takes discipline to remain still in body and mind. You have to block out the world around you and quieten your thoughts. Ideally, it requires practicing at least 10 to 20 minutes five times a week to get the most out of your meditation.
Scientifically proven benefits include: reduced stress, less anxiety, improved emotional health, enhanced self-awareness, better focus, can generate kindness, improved sleep, helps control pain, can decrease blood pressure.
We teach various kinds of meditations according to our client’s needs.
